The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the party access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Planners tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
