Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Primary Feature

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
